Field Trip in honor of  Women's History Month for A-MAN, Inc. Young Lady Achievers!

Dr. Bettye Davis Walker, A-MAN, Inc. STEM International Science Center President, organized a Field Trip for the Young Lady Achievers to view the highly acclaimed Movie, "Hidden Figures."
Dr. Walker presented each of the students with a Microscope in a ceremony before they traveled to see the movie. Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter, assisted with the presentations at the STEM Center co-founded by Dr. Walker and her Laser Scientist husband, Hildreth (Hal) Walker, Jr. The three(3) women who were written about in the movie are also members of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and many activities have been planned to showcase their contributions to NASA.
The AT&T Community department provided bus transportation and also lunch for the students. A panel discussion was held before the showing of the film and the young ladies were excited to see the film and realize the importance of STEM Education.
