DID YOU SEE MARS?
On Sunday 7, 2003 at 8 p.m. on the church patio, Laser Scientist, Hal Walker provided a 90mm telescope for the viewing of Mars.
The Mars viewing activity proved to be a fun-filled evening for families to unveil the mystery and wonder of the sky above. Observers enjoyed the sight of the "red planet" using binoculars while waiting to view Mars through the telescope. Exciting videos of Mars and the moon were shown under the tent on the patio to provide everyone with input on the "red planet"and the moon.
You are invited to join the Holman/A-MAN, Inc. Christian Education Technology Center committee by sharing your expertise or financial resources to implement short-term projects in the following areas:
- Training in computer technology and multimedia systems for children and adults
- Speakers - Persons to share their career and experiences with students
- Tutors - Reading, Science, Mathematics and Language Arts.
