Science and Technology Education for Minority Youth

The A-MAN, Inc. mission is to utilize science and technology as a motivational tool and advance the educational achievement, intellectual and career development of African-American students and other minority students between the ages of 5 and 18 years of age. A-Man, Inc. seeks partnerships with individuals and institutions who share the vision to increase diversity in the special interest fields of science and technology.

The primary purpose is to increase the number of African-American and other minority students who are excited about and who enter the fields of science and technology. A-MAN, Inc. is a California State approved mentoring program.

Strategic Goals

As we look to our next decade of service, A-MAN seeks to expand its program through alliances with local, national and international public and private sector entities, schools and foundations focused on eliminating the Digital Divide that separates minority communities from access to tools, services and careers in the Information Age. The goals over the next five years are:
